E-Course Introduction

The Program | E-Course page is divided into two sections:

E-Course Introduction

Section 1: Navigation Panel

The Navigation Panel lists all of the learning modules within the Program, and is located on the left-hand side of the program window. Each module contains step-by-step instructions for students and participants to complete.

Course Navigation Tabs display the section name and/or part, in addition to the number of steps contained within a learning module

Section 2: Step | Task Panel

The Step | Task Panel displays information and instruction about each step and its' related task within the window to the right of the Navigation Panel.

For example, the course tab labeled, 'Overview' informs students that there is '1 step' to complete for this particular module.

When a student or participant clicks on the arrow for the module labeled Overviewinformation and/or instruction related to the required step will populate within the Step | Task Panel to the right of the Navigation Panel.

The task for this particular step is labeled, 'E-Course Structure,' and requires that the student or participant read the information that populates within the Step | Task Panel.

Once the information within this step has been read, click on the 'Complete Step' button located at the bottom right corner of the program window.

This action will mark the step | task as, 'completed.'

If a learning module contains multiple steps, proceed by clicking on the next step within the module. When the step has been completed, click on the 'Next' button located at the bottom right corner of the program window to move forward to the next step in the series.

When all steps and tasks within a learning module have been completed, students and participants will advance to the next learning module in sequence.

Progress Badges

Upon  successful completion  of  each  learning module,  students  and  participants  are  rewarded  with a 'Climbing Ladders' badge to acknowledge their achievement as they progress through the course.

When a 'Climbing Ladders' badge has been awarded, students and participants can access their Profile page to view Progress Badges earned.

To view Progress Badges, click the drop-down menu on the Education Portal menu bar and select the Profile tab.

Progress Badges earned appear along the bottom of the Header within the Profile page.

A list of Progress Badges earned can also be viewed in the Badges section located beneath the About section within the Profile page.

Navigating The E-Course

Ancient Messages In Stone | Decoding Ancient History | Part 1- 6 is a self-paced program.

Navigating The E-Course
  • Students and participants can complete each of the course modules at their own pace. 

  • Each course module contains steps and tasks of instruction that must be completed in sequential order.

Certificate of Completion

Each course module that contains a test | quiz that requires a passing grade of 80% or greater.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the Program | E-Course, students and participants will receive

a Certificate of Completion via e-mail.
